Durban, South Africa – #LFSKZN kicked off the five legged elimination tournament at Greyville Racecourse, Durban on Sunday night with a series of exhilarating bouts featuring the brightest of the city’s home grown stars.
After a long day of battle to make it to the final round at the prelims and with some Durban’s best fighters making it through up to three separate fights, the following finalists are on their way to ultimate glory in the hopes of being crowned the South African Champion at the Ticket – pro Dome on 15 October 2016.

Last Fighter Standing will make its stop in the Mother City next and promises to deliver another full day of action packed entertainment.
“Durban did not disappoint and now we are excited to see what Cape Town has to offer as we get a step closer to establishing an SA National Champion,” said LFS CEO, Quinton van der Burgh.
Filming for the reality t.v show, which premiers on e.tv on 25 July kicked off last week with a number of interesting stars already. “The producers of the show have followed the Durban fighters around for a week now and captured extremely interesting and many heated stories that are making for incredible t.v., all I can say is this show will not disappoint,” concluded van der Burgh.
South African Championship
2016 will culminate with the winners from the four qualifying city events facing off against each other in their particular weight divisions on 15 October where a winner in each division will be crowned the South African Champion.
